Dr. Dhanani was born and raised in Virginia. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia in 2013, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2017. Following graduation, he began his rigorous four-year residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Broward Health Medical Center at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. During his residency in South Florida, he was trained extensively in a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. His training included surgical extraction of teeth, dental implant surgery, facial trauma, management of both benign and malignant oral pathology, oral and maxillofacial reconstruction, and orthognathic surgery. He was awarded his specialty certificate in OMFS in 2021 and served as the chief resident during his final year of training. Also, during his final year, he earned the “Resident of the Year Award” for his outstanding service, academic excellence and commitment to medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Dhanani enjoys hanging out with family and friends, playing and watching basketball, going to the beach, hiking, traveling, and learning about different cultures. He is a D.C. area sports enthusiast and likes going to live sporting events. He takes great interest in history and enjoys going to the numerous museums in Washington D.C. Some of his memorable travel experiences include visiting Machu Picchu and historical sites in Spain and Portugal.
With a patient centric model in mind, Dr. Dhanani aims to provide comfortable and positive experiences to his patients. Dr. Dhanani’s mission is to provide the highest quality of care with compassion to every patient. Returning home to Virginia, Dr. Dhanani looks forward to joining Loudoun Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and serving the Loudoun and Northern Virginia communities.
