Welcome to the Greater Loudoun Hygiene Study Club! This study club was created to provide a leading-edge opportunity within the continuing education and professional networking community. Dental hygienists play a prominent role in the assessment of a patient’s oral health. To be effective, it is imperative that each professional has access to the most current information and technology. With the goal of professional excellence in mind, we encourage you to join us!
The Greater Loudoun Hygiene Study Club will give you the opportunity to strengthen your clinical skills and knowledge and improve personal wellness. There will be 6 meetings for a total of 15 credit hours. These meetings will be structured and broken into a series of individual classes that combine lecture, participation and discussion. Refer to our Hygiene Study Club calendar for more information. A light meal will be provided for attendees during each meeting. Please note that you must register for the entire year.
Each program is based on Seattle Study Club philosophy. Our surgeons, Dr. Andrew Bluhm, Dr. Steve Dorsch and Dr. Gene Vandervort, add to the program, and they recommend active participation in all sessions to maximize the overall benefits. Within the context of the study club, participants will learn and grow through peer interaction. They will also develop professional and personal support network. Call or stop by our oral and maxillofacial surgery offices in Ashburn and Leesburg, Virginia, for more information.
